The Best Class in This University

My favorite class that I have taken in this university is comprehension of music.  I could have various experiences and knowledge of music.  I could learn about history of music and culture of the old days.  The professor had a strong baritone voice, so I could always concentrate on the class.  The most memorable thing in this class is Kalon.  It means a tendency that ancient European wanted to find beauty in everywhere.  Sometimes when he saw a pretty girl or product, he always said “it is really kalontic’.  The professor gave the students taken the class some opportunities to watch opera or classical music concert at a cheap price.  I could watch Phantom of the opera using the chance.  I had never seen that kind of concert before, so I could meet with a new experience.  In addition, he recommended that we should heard diverse music without prejudice, so he said he enjoyed listening Korean pop music.  He always encouraged us go to watch some pop concert, so I went to K-pop concert with my friends.  I was really happy that I could take this class and really appreciated him about giving me the various golden opportunities.  After that I recommend the class to my younger friends.  That is the best class in this university I think. 

A Funny Story that I heard these days

        A few days ago, a story was ranked as the most searched words in Naver.  It was an unusual happening, and I clinked on the story.  The title was ‘My mother bought a set of knives….’ 

A few days ago, a girl’s mother bought a set of knives at a department store.   She attempted to throw away an old knife into normal plastic bag in a recycling day, but her father said “if you throw out this like that, cleaning persons could be hurt.”  Eventually, she came together her father to cope with the task toward 1 floor.  Her father was holding the old knife and small backpack to fold the knife, and she was bringing a garbage bag.   On the way to one floor, an elevator was stopped at 5 floors, and a guy who seems like 24 or 25 years old took the elevator.  As soon as he took on it, he pushed 3 floors button suddenly, so she guessed he forget some important items.  He hardly started to run holding her hand when the elevator was arrived at 3 floors.  She really surprised and said “let go of my hand”, but he said ”stop talking and just run.  A crazy guy is behind you just now.”  She thought in mind what a ridiculous situation, but she couldn’t tell to him because his face was horrified by my father.  After a short while, when the man looked back once again, he released his hold on her hand and ran fast with yelling his head off because her father chased them with the old knife.  The father thought his daughter was kidnapped by the man, so he pursued the 3-floors man in an absolutely furious state of mind.  Eventually, after a police person came to there, the happening was over.  Due to the funny situation, the girl could close with the runaway man, but her father still dislikes him.  By the story, her father could be popular in the town, so he could become a president of a neighborhood association a few days later.

Try to make delicious spaghetti

         Let me teach how to make delicious spaghetti.  Most Korean people like spaghetti carbonara that is cream spaghetti, but I like original one, tomato spaghetti, and enjoy make it.  At first, I prepare fresh ingredients such as tomato source, garlic, green pepper, onion, shrimp and beef.  When I boiled a spaghetti noodle, I add some salt because the salt makes the noddle more resiliently.  It is important to keep order that I roast rest ingredients during boiling the noodle because of to maintain the ingredients the best condition.  If shrimp roasted too long, I couldn’t taste a real flavor.  First, I fry garlic and beef, after that onion and green pepper then shrimp and tomato source.  I usually use only one fry-fan and add each ingredient.  When the all ingredients ready, I put the noodle into the fry-fan and mix two or three minutes.  The all step is over, but if you want to eat more special, add some cheese on the food, and put an oven for a couple of minutes.  Sometimes I made it and treated my parents, but they didn’t like it even though it was really delicious.  I don’t know why they did.  If you try this step to make spaghetti, you could feel taste of heaven.

Some good things about living in cities

Living in a big city is more convenient than living in a country for many reasons.  My hometown is Gwangyang that is near southern sea.  There has nice view and fish market, but there is not comfortable for living.  There are good transportations in the city such as subway and bus.  Especially, they are run until late time, and everyone could use them easily.  Moreover, there are so many amenities in a city.  For example, hospitals, amusement park, and department store.  In my case, I usually go to rock and hip-hop concert.  People who live in city could have more chances to go there.  Finally, city people have more chances to get a job.  Major companies are located in huge cities, and these companies could create more jobs in the cities.  In urban area, people could share essential information and make a study group easily.  For these reason, living cities is better than living countries.

My sad and embarrassed experience in middle school

       I have a sad and embarrassed story about my friend of middle school. I usually went to school and came home with the friend because my house was located in front of his home.  One day, I fought with the friend.  I don’t know why I did exactly, but I just remember we quarreled over a trivial matter.  My memory is that the cause was because of me, so I should apologize to him, but I didn’t want to that.   It was a problem of my pride and I just wanted to disguise the fact that I felt uncomfortable.  After that, I didn’t do any talking even avoided eye contact with him.  The reason that we fought was already not important, and I wanted to be winner on this dispute.  It was last three days.  Suddenly, he didn’t come to school answered a phone.  A class teacher asked me why he didn’t come, but I didn’t know too why he did.  I began to worry about the fight because I expected he didn’t come because of me.  He didn’t come to school continuously, so I visited to his home eventually.  There is nobody.  I rang a doorbell without interruption, but there was no answer.  A few days later, I heard a shocking story that he transferred to another school.  Nobody knows about his story even the class teacher.  Looking back on it now, I guess he had a serious family problem.  I as a close friend didn’t realize his trouble, and this was a huge tragedy to me at that time.  I don’t know anything, so I couldn’t contact him even now.  I’m regretting my behavior and want to say to him like this.  I’m really sorry, and I was just a kid at that time.  I really miss you.

Mr. Park is the best teacher in my life.

             When I was a high school student, I often skipped a self-regulating study in evening.  My homeroom teacher, Mr. Nam, hated me.  I couldn’t counsel with him.  Actually, I could receive some advice with him about entering University, but it did not help me because he didn’t want to talk me about that.  I really needed to get some advices about information of universities.  I asked some counseling to my ethics teacher, Mr. Park.  He always helped me when I applied for nonscheduled admission and regular application period of universities. I visited Mr. Park’s home after I graduated my high school.  He was very friendly and hospitable as I went to there.  If I didn’t have some advices from him, I wouldn’t find variety way to enter a university.  I always appreciate it.

My favorite cafe around this university

Ramela is one of the best cafés in front of my university.  The location is between Caffebene and after the day called 그날이후.  There is different of another café.  We could order just 2 menus, an ice creams and fruit juices.  Even though there doesn’t have enough places to stay a lot of people, many people want to visit there.  The first reason is flavor.  There are three types of fruit ice cream such as chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla.  In fact, the taste is not different from other shops, but whenever I order an ice cream in there, the size is always satisfied with my estimated.  Sometimes, the owner mixed 2 kinds of taste, chocolate and vanilla.  It is better than original vanilla or chocolate taste.  Actually, there got fame as fresh fruit juices.  There use seasonal fruits only.  The owner said that fruits in season are tasty and good for the body.  For this reason, we couldn’t order watermelon juice in this season, but we could enjoy a fresh grape and apple juice.  The second reason many people want to visit there is the owner’s kindness.  I think it is fundamental option that many cafes should have.  However, many cafes around this university are really not nice.  The owner of good cafe is elderly couple.  They treat us kindly, like a child.  I think that although Ramela is really small café that is even enough tables, the reason students want to visit there is whenever they go there, they could be satisfied with the taste and service.
